Marilyn Monroe - Forever beautiful

I'm sure the internet will be a sea of pictures of this beautiful lady. One of the legend elegant women-Marilyn Monroe,and  we never forget the pose which made her famous in global!Marilyn Monroe captivated the world with her beauty, glamour, and unabashed sex appeal.

I think her icon  can show nostalgic sensibilities,and it seems that Marilyn Monroe images are everywhere even nowadays. The legend, the myth, the mystique of Marilyn captivates most of people, and I find myself wanting to know more about the woman behind the radiant smile.

Vintage Piano

An vintage piano is not just an old piano. An vintage piano must have a real value. A Wurlitzer piano made in the early 1900's is just an old piano and a Steinway piano from the same period would be considered vintage. 

What is the difference? The simple answer is quality and value. The antique piano is precious above all because the potential for beauty of sound and appearance, and secondly because of the Steinway name. 

However, a straight leg from the 1940 Steinway piano is also considered a classic, though less valuable, only for the potential beauty of sound and the simple elegance of the case. 

Last year, I went to the piano museum, many vintage piano there!

 Many people buy clocks for home decoration purposes, interior design, interior decorating and many more purposes.Even if we need a furniture or not clocks are a must as they have become a integral part with our life.The prices are almost affordable and they even range to very costly items but they are really worth the price because of their antique age and many other things like handiness.

Vintage mantel clocks are mechanical timepieces originally designed to be displayed on fireplace mantels. Their small size---generally not much more than a foot in height---also makes them ideal for tabletops. The clocks came in a variety of shapes and were often highly decorated. Vintage mantel clocks typically date form the 18th and 19th centuries, with traditional forms continuing into the early 1900s.

Wood Wall Phones

Wood Wall phones were among the first phones that were made available to the public by the early telephone companies of the late 1900s. Most of these phones had self contained batteries to provide transmission power. This strategy enabled telephone users to communicate with each other without the requirement for a centralized power supply.

Candlestick Phones

Candlestick phones were introduced in the 1890s, and continued to be made through the 1920s.

Desk Sets

Vintage desk set telephones include most telephones made from 1930 on. Most often, collectable desk set telephones are rotary dial models. Some of the older telephones in this class have ringer boxes.

Vintage Radio Museum

That is a Vintage Radio Museum. It is located in Iceland.The picture as you see which is antique structure. I read the artic about this museum, it described that when you walk in, you feel like you’re going into an old basement full of things that you no longer use, or that you went to your grandparents’ house. Everything in the museum was so well preserved and valued for what it is, and a guide would  comes up to you and starts telling you the history of the radio, by showing you the radio from that period at every step.

Who would have thought a museum could be located there?

The americans developed it more later on and came up with colored radios, which were held by ladies like purses! The radios started coming in sets later on, including the radio and a record player. They took up lots of space in your house, which I guess would serve as decoration as well!

It used to make morse code. It would get printed on a different paper which would be deciphered by recipients!

Do you want to got there? I think I'm interested to visit there. However, Iceland is so far form my country, what a pity! I think it is amazing to see all of this, because I can realize that this can dates back to 100 years ago just like a time machine.
